Hintz Earns Great Midwest Player of the Week

Findlay, Ohio – On Monday, Nov. 12, the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced their first set of basketball Players of the Week and senior Anna Hintz took home the honor for the Oilers in the first week of her final season.

Hintz led Findlay to a 71-51 win in their season-opener at Wayne State on Nov. 9. In the game, Hintz scored 25 points on 10-of-20 from the floor and grabbed 14 rebounds to collect her first double-double of the year and 16th of her career. The North Fairfield, Ohio native added three steals and three blocks as well to round out her stellar performance.

Sitting at 993 points, Hintz is knocking on the door of becoming the 22nd member of the 1,000 point club at Findlay.

This is the second time in her career that Hintz has earned Great Midwest Player of the Week honors. Her last came after a 31-point performance against Cedarville in December of 2017.
