Series Information

Tiffin: The Oilers have not played any team as much as they have played Tiffin. The two teams have met 55 times since their first meeting in 1984-85, a game the Oilers won 77-36. Consequently, Findlay has beaten Tiffin more than any other team, earning 44 wins against the Dragons.

Last season the Dragons and Oilers met on Nov. 12 at the G-MAC/GLIAC Crossover in Painesville, a game that Findlay won 95-63. In that game, Anna Hintz scored what was at the time a career-high 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting. She also had six rebounds, two assists, and a block. Haley Horstman scored 17 while Dana Fricke scored a career-high 14 and Lauren Ruth chipped in 10.

Cedarville: Findlay and Cedarville have faced off 32 times since their initial meeting in the 1982-83 season, a game won by the Oilers by a score of 83-78. This matchup has favored the Orange and Black as the Oilers hold a 25-7 advantage against the Yellow Jackets.

Last season saw the Oilers win both games against Cedarville, the first of which was a double-overtime victory for Findlay over the then no. 22 ranked Yellow Jackets. Anna Hintz averaged 30 ppg and 9.5 rpg against Cedarville last season including a career-high 31 points in the team's initial meeting last December. Hintz also had a career-high five blocks in that game.

Findlay (2-0, 0-0 G-MAC)

Findlay has looked good in their first two contests of the season, winning their games by an average of 25.5 points, the 13th best point differential in the country. The Orange and Black boast the top scoring offense in the league at 82.0 ppg and have the stingiest defense, giving up just 56.5 ppg and allowing a .322 shooting percentage.

Senior Anna Hintz, the G-MAC Player of the Week in the first week of the season, is leading the league in scoring at 22.0 ppg and is the only player in the league averaging double-figure rebounds, pulling in 13.5 boards per game. Hintz' shooting percentage of .529 is the best in the G-MAC while her 2.0 blocks per game rank second and her 3.0 steals per game are also second in the country.

Senior Lauren Ruth is scoring 11.5 points per game and is the team's leading threat from deep, making an average of three shots from deep per game. Senior Elissa Ellerbrock is a double-double threat averaging 10.0 ppg and 7.5 rpg while Allie Thobe is scoring 8 ppg, grabbing 3.0 rpg, and dishing out 5.5 assists per game.

Tiffin Dragons (2-3, 0-0 G-MAC)

The Dragons are off to a slow start in their first season in the G-MAC. Through five games, Tiffin has picked up just two wins, both two-point victories, one over McKendree and the other over Urbana. Findlay and Tiffin have two common opponents already this season in Urbana and Wayne St. The Dragons beat Urbana 77-75 and lost to Wayne St. 73-71, teams that Findlay has an average margin of victory of 25.5 over.

The Dragons have failed to reach the ten-win mark since the 2012-13 campaign when the team finished 11-15 and haven't had a winning season since 2011-12, a 21-7 record.

This season, Tiffin, which did not have any all-GLIAC players a season ago, is led offensively by sophomore Annie Santucci who is scoring 14.8 points per game. Senior Ali Schirmer is playing a key role, as well, scoring 12.6 points per game, dishing out 3.6 assists per game, and pulling in 2.6 rebounds per game.

Freshman Aarion Nichols is off to a good start in her debut campaign, averaging double-figures at 11.8 points per game. She is also the team's leading rebounder at 5.8 rpg.
