Findlay (3-1, 1-1 G-MAC)

The preseason favorite to win the G-MAC, the Oilers dropped their first contest of the season on Saturday in a tough environment against last year's regular-season champion, Cedarville. Findlay returns home for four consecutive games.

Walsh Cavaliers (5-2, 2-0 G-MAC)

Last season, Walsh finished the year 21-9 and had a 17-5 record in league play, earning the second in the Great Midwest tournament and had their season end at the hands of the Oilers in the tournament semis. This year, the Cavs have started their season with a 5-2 record and have rattled off three consecutive wins including a pair of conference wins over Ohio Dominican and Ohio Valley, respectively.

The second-best scoring team in the league, Walsh comes into the weekend scoring 80.6 points per game and are led in that department by freshman Quionche Carter who is pouring in a team-high 20.3 points per game, the second-most in the league after Findlay's Anna Hintz. Carter is the reigning Great Midwest Player of the Week and has scored 20 points in each of her previous four contests. The 6-0 forward out of Southfield, Mich. is also leading the team in rebounding at 7.0 per game, fourth in the league.

After Carter, the list of scoring threats continues with sophomore Mayci Sales, who is scoring 11.2 ppg, and junior Jamie Halloran, who is pouring in 10.0 ppg. Sales' assist/turnover ratio of 1.5 ranks third in the league while Halloran, the team's biggest three-point threat, connects on 37% of her shots from deep, sixth-best in the conference.
