Series Information

Findlay is 1-1 against Wheeling Jesuit. The Oilers won the first matchup in the series in the 2009-10 season, a 101-62 road win for Findlay.The teams met again in 2016-17 in Wheeling, a game that ended in a 71-63 loss for the Oilers.

In the most recent meeting, Lynsey Englebrecht was the leading scorer as she poured in 18 points on six made triples. Anna Hintz scored nine points off the bench and grabbed a game-high five rebounds.Haley Horstman and Karli Bonar each scored nine points, as well.

Findlay (7-3, 4-2 G-MAC)

Findlay split their two games in Florida and return home to take on Wheeling Jesuit in the final home event at Findlay in 2018.

The Oilers are scoring 73.5 ppg this season and are led by senior Anna Hintz who is pouring in 19.5 ppg and grabbing 8.9 reb. Elissa Ellerbrock is scoring 9.9 ppg while Allie Thobe chips in 8.7 ppg. Thobe has put up solid numbers across the board as she also is getting 3.9 reb, 3.6 assists, and 1.8 steals per game.

Wheeling Jesuit (3-8, 1-5 MEC)

Out of the Mountain East Conference, the Wheeling Jesuit Cardinals are in the midst of a five game skid after starting the season 3-3. WJU is being outscored by an average of 11.9 points per game, giving up 80.4 ppg.

The Cardinals rely heavily on a pair of scorers for a bulk of their offensive production. Chenelle Moore and Khira Burton lead the team in scoring at 16.4 and 15.7 ppg, respectively. After Burton, the next-highest scorer is Taliah Cashwell at 7.4 ppg. Moore and Burton's combined 32 ppg are nearly half of the team's total of 68 ppg.
