The University of Findlay fell to 3-2 on the season after losing 81-75 to Wayne State University on Nov. 19 in Niekamp Arena.

The Oilers jumped out to a 26-13 lead after the first quarter of play and held a 69-58 lead with 7:17 to play in the fourth, but couldn't hold on down the stretch as the Warriors outscored Findlay 25-11 in the final period.

The Oilers shot 38.6 percent (27-of-70) from the floor and held the Warriors to a 34.8 percent (24-of-69) shooting clip. The Warriors hit ten three pointers and also made 23 free throws in the game, which compared to seven three pointers and only 14 made free throws for Findlay.

Sophomore forward Paige Bellman led the Oilers with a career-high 19 points, 16 rebounds, and five blocks. She made 8-of-10 attempts from the field and also added three assists and a steal.

Sophomore guard Amber Schweiger recorded a career-high with 18 points to go along with three assists, two steals, and two rebounds while senior guard Lauren Ruth reached double figures with ten points.

Sophomore forward Sydney Kin nearly recorded a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds for Findlay as well.

The Warriors were led by Sadia Johnson's 13 points and seven rebounds.

Findlay will now prepare to head to Michigan to face Davenport on Nov. 22 and Grand Valley State on Nov. 24.
