Bio

Caitlin Bamberger is entering her sixth year with the Oilers basketball program in 2022-23.

The Oilers have posted a 87-54 record with Bamberger as an assistant coach and had one of their most successful seasons in school history in 2017-18, finished with a record of 22-8, achieving a national ranking (No. 25), and earning a berth in the NCAA DII Tournament for just the third time in school history. It was the 12th 20-win season in school history and just the third since the school became an NCAA Division II member.

Bamberger came to Findlay from the University of North Alabama where she spent two seasons as an assistant coach and two seasons as a graduate assistant coach.

Prior to her time at UNA, Bamberger played at Shippensburg University where she was a three-year captain for the Raiders. Bamberger lettered four years, plus a redshirt season at Shippensburg, earning 'Most Improved' and 'Newcomer of the Year' honors during the 2009-10 season. She was named PSAC Freshan of the Week on January 25. She finished her career with 396 points and 332 rebounds.

Prior to her college career, Bamberger was a standout at Fleetwood High School in Blandon, Pa. She totaled 934 total points for the Tigers while averaging 12.1 points per game. She was a three-time member of the All-Berks Division II Team, named a three-time MVP, a two-year captain and a four-year varsity starter. She also played volleyball and ran track.
