Bio

Haley Horstman is beginning her first season as an assistant coach with the Oilers during the 2022-23 campaign.

Horstman, a 2018 graduate of the University of Findlay, came back to the Oilers after serving as an assistant coach with Tiffin University during the 2021-22 season. Before her stop in Tiffin, Horstman spent two years as a graduate assistant at Bluffton University whiler earning her MBA.

As a member of the Oilers women's basketball team, Horstman finished her career with 1,185 points, 368 rebounds, 260 assists, and 128 steals. A four-year starter for Findlay, Horstman led the Oilers to the G-MAC Tournament championship game as a senior and an appearance in the NCAA Division II National Tournament.

Horstman graduated from UF with degree in sports business and marketing and earned GLIAC academic all-excellence honors.

A native of New Knoxville, Ohio, Horstman graduated from New Knoxville High School and competed in basketball, volleyball, and track. She is New Knoxville’s all-time leading scorer, a four-time all-conference winner, and three-time team player of the year award winner.
