Oilers Place 4th At GLIAC Championship

The University of Findlay women's golf team placed fourth at the 2011 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championship, which was completed on Saturday, April 23 at the Country Club of Ashland in Ashland, Ohio.

The Oilers shot a three-round score of 1,016 (335, 334, 347) at the event as Grand Valley State University took home the title with a 966 (322, 327, 317).

Individually, Andrea Vogt took tenth place to lead the team after carding a 250 (80, 80, 90) while Ashley Gubser (84, 84, 84 – 252) was 13th.

Lauren Vogt (84, 85, 87 – 256) took 16th while Brooke Albers (87, 85, 86 – 258) and Trelyn Gerlinger (96, 91, 91 – 278) placed 19th and 25th, respectively.
