Oilers Take 3rd At LSSU

The University of Findlay women's golf team placed third at the Lake Superior State University Invitational on Sunday, September 12 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. The Oilers shot a 337 in the opening round and came back with a 341 in the second to give them a final total of 678 for the tournament.

Andrea Vogt tied for sixth to pace the Oilers after carding a 163 (83, 80) while Ashley Gubser (84, 86 – 167) and Brooke Albers (85, 85 – 170) took ninth and tenth place respectively at the event.

Jessica Lynch (88, 90 – 178) and Hillary Lawrence (92, 96 – 188) also competed for Findlay at the event.
