Vogt's School Record Helps Oilers Win

The University of Findlay women's golf team won the Cougar Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 9, which was hosted by St. Francis University in Kendallville, Indiana. The Oilers shot a two-round score of 625 (319, 306) as Lauren Vogt won the tournament for Findlay.

Vogt finished with a 151, shooting a 79 in the first round and a 72 in the second. Her even round score on the second 18 is the lowest in school history.

In addition, Ashley Gubser placed fourth with a 156 (76, 80) while Brooke Albers finished fifth with a 157 (80, 77).

Andrea Vogt finished sixth with a 161 (84, 77) while Hillary Lawrence (87, 87 – 174) and Trelyn Gerlinger (92, 93 – 185) took 19th and 29th place, respectively.
