Albers Leads Oilers At GVSU

The University of Findlay women's golf team finished the Grand Valley State University Invitational in a tie for ninth place with the University of Indianapolis on Monday, October 4 in Allendale, Michigan. The Oilers shot a two-day score of 648 (327, 321) at the event.

Brooke Albers led the way by tying for ninth with a 153 (77, 76) while Ashley Gubser (78, 76 – 154) tied for 12th.

Andrea Vogt (81, 80 – 161) and Trelyn Gerlinger (91, 96 – 187) also competed for Findlay at the event.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Saturday when they host the Bing-Beall Classic at the Sycamore Springs Golf Course in Arlington, Ohio.
