Gubser Named GLIAC Athlete of the Week

Senior Ashley Gubser was tabbed the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Athlete of the Week on April 3 after winning the Give 18 Fore Cancer Classic, which concluded on April 1.

Gubser fired a 75 during the first round of competition and then came back with a 1-under par score of 71 in the final round to take top honors with a 146.

The 71 by Gubser in the final round is the second lowest 18-hole score in the history of UF women's golf.
