Albers in 43rd at National Championship

Sophomore Brooke Albers completed the first day of the 2012 NCAA Division II Women's Golf National Championship on May 16 at the Persimmon Ridge Golf Course in Louisville, Ky. 

Albers, one of 70 golfers at the event, ended the opening day with a score of 86, which is good for 43rd place.

Albers will continue the event again tomorrow.
