Gerlinger, Vogt and Albers Named Academic All-Americans

Senior Trelyn Gerlinger, junior Lauren Vogt and sophomore Brooke Albers, members of the Oilers women's golf team, were each tabbed Academic All-American by the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) on Friday, July 6.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.

Each of the three golfers earned Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Academic Excellence awards during the spring as well.
