Oilers Currently 3rd at Indy Fall Classic

Results

The University of Findlay women's golf team is currently in third place at the University of Indianapolis Fall Classic, which was held at the Heartland Crossing Golf Links in Camby, Ind.  The Oilers shot a 316 on the opening day and trail California (Pa.) by nine strokes with one day to play.

Lauren Vogt led the Oilers during the opening round on Sunday, Sep. 23 with a 75.  The round of 75 puts her in a tie for second place at the tournament.

Kasey Petty is sitting sixth with a 77 while Brooke Albers is tied for 16th with an 81.

Michele Schambs (83), Hannah Schneider (86) and Emily Mock (94) are also competing for the Oilers at the event.
