Oilers, Vogt Finish 3rd at Laker Invitational

Results

The University of Findlay women's golf team placed third at the Gilda's Club Laker Invitational, which was completed on Sunday, September 30 in Allendale, Mich.

The Oilers shot a 327 on the second day and ended the tournament with a 643 (316, 327).  Ashland University won the event with a 634 (315, 319).

Lauren Vogt placed third with a 153 (76, 77) to lead the Oilers while Brooke Albers (81, 81 – 162) and Michele Schambs (79, 83 – 162) tied for 11th.

Kasey Petty (80, 86 – 166), Hannah Schneider (83, 94 – 177) and Emily Mock (102, 98 – 200) also competed for Findlay.

The Oilers will return home to host the William Bing Beall Classic on Oct. 7-8 at the Findlay Country Club.
