Oilers Complete Day 1 In Arizona

The University of Findlay women's golf team stands in second place after the first day of the Shootout In Arizona Invitational, which is taking place in Phoenix, Az. 

Due to inclement weather, the golfers only participated in nine holes for the second round for the day.

The Oilers shot a 472 on the first day of competition behind a 115 from Lauren Vogt, who is tied for third at the event.

Brooke Albers (123), Michele Schambs (124), Kasey Petty (126), Hannah Schneider (136) and Emily Mock (142) are also competing for the Oilers at the event.

The tournament will continue tomorrow.
