Vogt Named GLIAC Golfer of the Week

Senior Lauren Vogt was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Women's Golfer of the week on Tuesday, March 26 for her performance in the Perry Park Spring Fling (3/23).

Vogt tied for second at the event, which was shortened due to bad weather, with a 36-hole score of 150.

The Auburn, Ind., native carded a 74 in the opening round and then came back with a 76 in the second and finished one-stroke back of the leader in a field of 140 golfers.  She registered 24 pars and three birdies during her rounds and helped the Oilers to a second place finish at the event with a 628 (321, 307).
