Women's Golf Takes 3rd at NC4K College Classic

The University of Findlay women's golf team placed third at the NC4K College Classic, which was hosted by Ohio Dominican University at the Jefferson Country Club in Blacklick, Ohio. 

The Oilers shot a 322 on Sunday and then came back with a 327 on Monday, the last day of competition, to end the tournament with a 649.

California-PA finished first out of a field of 18 teams with a 637 (313, 324).

Lauren Vogt led the way and took third with a 154 (79, 75) while Brooke Albers tied for fifth place with a 156 (78, 78).

Michele Schambs (82, 83 – 165), Kasey Petty (83, 94 – 177), Hannah Schneider (87, 91 – 178) and Emily Mock (94, 92 – 186) also competed for the Oilers at the event.

The Oilers will be back in action again on April 13-14 at the Bowling Green State University Delores Black Invitational.  The tournament is being held at the Stone Ridge Golf Course in Bowling Green, Ohio.
