Senior Lauren Vogt led the Oilers to a fourth place finish at the Northwood University Invitational, which concluded on Sunday, April 21 at the Midland Country Club in Midland, Mich.

Vogt won the tournament with a 3-under par score of 69, which broke her own record for the lowest round in school history.  She was five shots better than the next competitor in the field of 56 players and dropped four birdies to go along with 13 pars during the round.  Her 69 topped the mark of 70 (-2) that she achieved at the Bulldog Invitational in 2011.

Brooke Albers tied for 17th with an 80 while Kasey Petty tied for 29th with an 86.

The Oilers will hit the links again on April 26-28 at the 2013 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championship.  The event is scheduled to be played at the Stone Ridge Golf Course in Bowling Green, Ohio.
