Vogt Named GLIAC Golfer of the Week

Senior Lauren Vogt was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Golfer of the Week on Tuesday, April 23.

Vogt won the Northwood University Invitational with a 3-under par score of 69 on Sunday, April 21 at the Midland Country Club in Midland, Mich.  Her score of 69 was five shots better than the next competitor in the field of 56 players as she dropped four birdies and had 13 pars during her round.  Her 69 also set a new record for lowest round in school history as she topped her own mark of 70 (-2), which she accomplished at the Bulldog Invitational in 2011.

Vogt has been presented the weekly award twice this season.
