Vogt, Oilers in 4th Place at GLIAC Championship

The University of Findlay women's golf team remains in fourth place at the 2013 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championship, which wrapped up the second day of competition on Saturday, April 27 at the Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio.

The Oilers fired a 315 on the second day and now have a score of 646 in the tournament.

Lauren Vogt continues to lead the Oilers and is currently in fourth place with a two-round score of 155.  She fired a 79 on Friday and then came back with a 76 on Saturday for Findlay.

Michele Schambs is in 15th place after carding an 83 on Saturday and now has a total score of 164 for the tournament.

Brooke Albers (84, 81 – 165) and Kasey Petty (90, 75 – 165) are tied for 16th while Hannah Schneider (87, 88 – 175) resides in a tie for 30th at the event.

The tournament will conclude tomorrow.
