Women's Golf Back in Action

The University of Findlay women's golf team completed rounds one and two of the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational on Monday, March 3 at the Tuscawilla Country Club in Winter Springs, Fla.  The Oilers are in 10th place at the event after carding a 654 (338, 316) on the first day.

Kasey Petty led the Oilers on the first day and is tied for 33rd after shooting a 36-hole score of 160.  She shot an 85 in the first round and then came back with a 75 in the second round for her score.

Brooke Albers is tied for 39th after posting a 163 (84, 79) while Shelby Warner is tied for 47th with a 165 (84, 81).

Michele Schambs (85, 81 - 166), Taylor Tweed (95, 93 - 188), Hannah Schneider (97, 99 - 196) and Emily Mock (107, 93 - 200) are also competing for Findlay at the event.

The tournament will wrap up action tomorrow.
