The University of Findlay women's golf team is currently in fourth place at the Walsh Invitational, which wrapped up the first day of competition on Sunday, April 13.

The Oilers shot a 330 on the first day and are only four strokes off of second place, which is held by Ashland (326).

Michele Schambs returned from injury to lead the Oilers on the first day and is in a tie for 11th with an 80.

Kasey Petty is tied for 17th with an 82 and Taylor Tweed is tied for 22nd with an 83.

Brooke Albers (85), Shelby Warner (88) and Emily Mock (105) are also competing for the Oilers in the event, which will conclude tomorrow.
