The University of Findlay women's golf team is now in fourth place at the 2014 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championship as the second day was completed on April 26.

The Oilers, who fired a 332 in the opening round, came back with a 331 in the second at the Winding Hollow Golf Club in New Albany, Ohio.  Their two-day score of 663 is four shots off Ferris State for third place and ten shots away from Ashland, who is in second with a 653.

Shelby Warner is tied for fifth with a 160 (78, 82) while Brooke Albers is in 14th place with a 164 (81, 83).

Kasey Petty (82, 87 – 169) and Michele Schambs (91, 79 – 170) are sitting in 19th and 21st place, respectively, while Taylor Tweed is 47th with a 109, 97 – 206).

The third and final round of the tournament will be held tomorrow.
