2013-14 All-GLIAC Teams

Senior Brooke Albers was voted first team all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) as the league office unveiled their annual postseason women's golf awards on June 5.

Albers, who was also a first team all-East Region pick during her senior year, helped lead the Oilers to their first appearance in the NCAA Division II National Championship by taking third at the super regional. She placed 49th at the national event, helping Findlay secure a seventh place finish.

The Ft. Lormaie, Ohio native was named second team all-conference in 2013 and 2011. She also earned all-region honors in 2012 after becoming the first Oilers golfer to qualify individually for the NCAA Division II National Championship.

In addition, junior Michele Schambs was tabbed second team all-conference while sophomore Kasey Petty and freshman Shelby Warner earned honorable mention honors.

Schambs, a second team all-league selection in 2012 as well, placed 13th at the regional. She then went on to take 33rd at the national championship.

Petty led the Oilers at the national tournament by taking 12th with a school record setting 72-hole score of 298 (77, 75, 74, 72) while Warner was the Oilers highest finisher at the GLIAC Championship, taking third with a 234 (78, 82, 74).
