Women's Golf to Host GLIAC Championship

2014-15 UF Women's Golf Schedule

The University of Findlay women's golf team, fresh off of a seventh place finish at the 2014 NCAA Division II National Championship, will begin their quest for a return trip to the national tournament on September 15-16 at the Lake Superior State Invitational. The tournament is scheduled to be held at the Wild Bluff Golf Course in Brimley, Mich.

After the opening tournament, the Oilers are scheduled to play the Indianapolis Invitational on September 21-22 in Indianapolis, Ind. before heading to the Meadows Golf Club in Allendale, Mich. for the Grand Valley State Invitational on September 27-28.

The Oilers are scheduled to hold their annual William Bing-Beall Fall Classic on October 12-13 at the Findlay Country Club.  They will then take part in the Malone Invitational on October 19-20 at Legends of Massillon in Massillon, Ohio to conclude their fall portion of the schedule.

Findlay returns to the links on March 2-3 at the Peggy Kirk Invitational. The tournament will be held at the Tuscawilla Country Club in Winter Springs, Fla.

On March 21-22 the Oilers will play in the NCAA DII Spring Fling at the Perry Park Country Club in Carrollton, Ky. Before competing in the Ohio Dominican Invitational on March 29-30 at the Jefferson Country Club in Columbus, Ohio.

The month of April will begin with the Tiffin Invitational on April 12-13 at the Mohawk Country Club in Sycamore, Ohio. The Oilers will then host the 2014 GLIAC Championship at the Findlay Country Club on April 24-26.

The NCAA DII Super Regional is slated to be held at the Joliet Country Club on May 3-5 in Joliet, Ill., which will be followed by the NCAA DII National Championship on May 13-16 at the Meadows Golf Club in Allendale, Mich.
