7 UF Golfers Earn All-American Scholar Honors

Seven members of the Oilers women's golf team were rewarded for their achievements in the classroom on July 2 by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WCGA) as they were named to the All-American Scholar Team.

Senior Brooke Albers, junior Michele Schambs, junior Emily Mock, sophomore Hannah Schneider, sophomore Kasey Petty, freshman Shelby Warner and freshman Taylor Tweed all received the honor for the Oilers.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA to be selected for the honor is 3.50.
