Oilers In First Place At LSSU Invitational

The University of Findlay women's golf team is in first place after the first round of the Lake Superior State Invitational in Brimley, Michigan at the Wild Bluff Golf course, which took place on Monday, Sept. 15. 

The Oilers A team shot a 325, which was led by Shelby Warner (74) and Michele Schambs (81). 

The Oilers B team is in fourth place with a score of 352, which was led by Taylor Tweed and Courtney Piatt after posting identical scores of 87. 

Warner is in first place while Schambs is in third place after completing round 1 of the tournament.   

Kasey Petty is in fourth place (82) and Haley Gray is in fifth place (83). 

Kelsey Koesters (88), Hannah Schneider (90), Erin Scoby (95) and Emily Mock (111) are also competing for Findlay at the event. 

The tournament will conclude tomorrow.
