Oilers Place 6th At Indianapolis Invitational

The University of Findlay women's golf team took 6th place at the Indianapolis Invitational, which wrapped up final round action on Monday, September 22 at the Heartland Crossing Golf Links in Camby, Ind. 

The Oilers shot a 320 for the day and finished the tournament with a team score of 648 (328, 320). 

The Oilers were led by sophomore Shelby Warner, who finished tied for 11th with a score of 156 (79, 77).  Junior Kasey Petty finished the tournament tied for 15th with a final score of 158 (80, 78). 

Senior Michele Schambs (165 - 83, 82), freshman Kelsey Koesters (169 - 86, 83), junior Hannah Schneider (172 – 87, 85) and sophomore Taylor Tweed (177 - 90, 87) also competed for Findlay at the event.

The Oilers will be back in action on September 27-28 at the Grand Valley State Invitational.  The tournament will be held at the Meadows Golf Club in Allendale, Michigan.
