Oilers In 10th Place After First Round Of GVSU Invitational

Results

The University of Findlay women's golf team is in 10th place after completing first round action of the Grand Valley State Invitational on Saturday, September 27 at Meadows Golf Club in Allendale, Michigan. 

The Oilers shot a 331 for the day and were led by junior Kasey Petty who is tied for 15th with a score of 79.  Senior Michele Schambs finished the day tied for 19th with a score of 80. 

Sophomore Shelby Warner (86), freshman Kelsey Koesters (86), junior Hannah Schneider (91) and sophomore Taylor Tweed (103) also competed for Findlay at the event. 

The Grand Valley State Invitational will conclude tomorrow.
