Women's Golf in 4th at Bing-Beall Classic

The University of Findlay women's golf team is currently in fourth place at the Bing-Beall Classic, which wrapped up first round action on Oct. 12 at the Findlay Country Club.

The Oilers shot a 321 on day one and were led by senior Michele Schambs, who is in a tie for tenth place at the tournament with a 78.

Junior Kasey Petty (79) and sophomore Shelby Warner (79) are tied for 14th while freshman Courtnehy Piatt (80) is tied for 18th.

Sophomore Taylor Tweed is also playing well and is tied for 23rd after carding an 81 on Sunday.

Freshman Kelsey Koesters (85), freshman Erin Scoby (86), junior Hannah Schneider (86), freshman Haley Gray (92) and senior Emily Mock (97) are also competing for Findlay at the event.

The tournament will conclude tomorrow.
