Oilers Complete Day 1 of Peggy Kirk Bell

The University of Findlay women's golf team is currently in 11th place at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational, which wrapped up first round action on March 2 at the Tuscawilla Country Club in Winter Springs, Fla.

The Oilers shot a 330 on the first day and were led by junior Kasey Petty and senior Michele Schambs. Both golfers are in a tie for 34th after they each posted a 79 in round one.

Sophomore Shelby Warner (83), freshman Kelsey Koesters (89), sophomore Taylor Tweed (89) and junior Hannah Schneider (92) are also competing for Findlay at the event.

The tournament will continue tomorrow.
