The University of Findlay women's golf team, who is coming off of two straight trips to the NCAA Division II National Championship, will open their season on Sep. 14-15 at the Indianapolis Invitational. The event will be held at the Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel, Ind. and will be hosted by the defending NCAA DII national champion, Indianapolis.

On Sep. 26-27, the Oilers will be participating in the Grand Valley State Invitational, which will be held at the Meadows Golf Course in Allendale, Mich. They will then compete in the Ashland Invitational on Oct. 3-4 at the Mohican Hills Golf Club in Jeromesville, Ohio.

The Oilers will host their annual William Bing-Beall Fall Classic on Oct. 11-12 at the Findlay Country Club. The event predominately draws some of the best NCAA Division II teams in the region.

Findlay closes the fall portion of their schedule on Oct. 19-20 at the Dayton Invitational. The event will take place at the NCR Country Club in Dayton, Ohio.

The Oilers finished eighth at the 2015 NCAA Division II National Championship and will be led by senior Kasey Petty, who became the Oilers first NCAA DII All-American last year. Petty earned honorable mention All-American honors after taking ninth at the championship event. Petty was also named first team all-region and first team all-conference during the 2014-15 season.

Junior Shelby Warner also returns to help lead the team after securing second team all-conference honors last year.
