The Oilers are currently in a tie for second place with Grand Valley State at the tournament and carded a 310 on the second day. Senior Kasey Petty is in second place at the tournament and fired a 2-over par score of 74 on day two. She is currently 3-under par at the tournament with a 36-hole score of 141 (67, 74). Her 3-under par score after 36 holes is good enough to establish a new school record.

Petty currently leads the field with nine birdies through the first two rounds and recorded three more on Tuesday. As a team, the Oilers have posted 19 birdies in the first 36-holes, good for second at the event.

Junior Shelby Warner continued her solid play and posted a 5-over par score of 77 in the second round. Warner is currently tied for seventh at the tournament with a 36-hole total of 150 (73, 77). She fired one birdie on Tuesday and mixed in 13 pars.

The Oilers will look to punch their ticket to the NCAA Division II National Championship tomorrow for the third consecutive season. The top three teams along with the top three individuals not with one of those teams from the regional will advance to the championship event. The 2016 NCAA Division II National Championship will be held at the CommonGround Golf Course in Aurora, Colo., which is slated to run from May 18-21.
