Women's Golf Slated to Host 2017 National Championship

2016-17 UF Women's Golf Schedule

The University of Findlay women's golf team, who has made three consecutive trips to the NCAA Division II National Championship, are slated to host the event this season at the Findlay Country Club. The 2017 NCAA Division II National Championship will take place on May 17-20 with the Oilers serving as the host for the first time since 2009.

Findlay's road towards competing at the national championship on their home course begins on Sep. 12-13 at the Indianapolis Invitational. They will then head to the Grand Valley State Invitational on Sep. 24-25 before competing in the Northwood Invitational on Oct. 3-4.

The Oilers will host their annual Bing-Beall Fall Classic on Oct. 9-10 at the Findlay Country Club and compete in the Dayton Invitational on Oct. 17-18. The squad will close the fall portion of their schedule at the Trevecca Fall Invitational on Oct. 24-25.

On March 13-14 the Oilers will begin their spring season at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational in Winter Springs, Fla. before heading to the Perry Park Spring Fling on March 25-26 in Perry Park, Ky.

The Oilers begin the month of April at the NC4K Classic on April 2-3 before heading to Bowling Green, Ohio for the Delores Black Falcon Invitational on April 8-9. The 2017 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championship will then run from April 21-23 at the Virtues Golf Course in Nashport, Ohio before the NCAA Division II East Regional, which is slated to take place on May 8-10 at the Glenmoor Country Club in Canton, Ohio.
