Adam Craig Resigns | Accepts Head Coach Position at Bluffton

Findlay, OH –Assistant Director of Golf, Adam Craig, has announced that he will resign from his position in the program, effective August 27. He has accepted the head coach at Bluffton University, a Division III school that competes in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC). Craig will be the first golf coach at the school since 2004 and will lead both the men's and women's programs.

"It has been an honor to be a part of the Oilers golf program as a player and coach", Craig stated. "I have learned what it takes to be a successful athlete, professional, and coach from the UF community. I am sad to leave such a great program but extremely excited to instill everything I have learned into making Bluffton Golf successful."

Craig played for the University of Findlay from 2003-08 where he collected four varsity letters and was named all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) in his sophomore season. He was a member of the Oilers in 2007, the last time the team has won a GLIAC Team Championship.

In his first season as a coach at Findlay, 2013-14, Craig helped lead the women's program to their first ever appearance at the DII National Championship. The team finished eighth and has qualified for the event each year since.

Between the Oilers' men's and women's programs, Craig has helped coach five tournament champions, six all-GLIAC players, four DII all-East region players, two NCAA DII individual top-20 finishers, one all-American, and one U.S. Women's Open qualifier.

Craig will continue to reside in Findlay with his wife, Erin and son, Luke.
