Oilers in 4th at GVSU

The University of Findlay women's golf team is in fourth place after day one of the Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invite, which is being held at the Meadows in Allendale, Mich. The Oilers shot a 310 on the first day and trail Grand Valley State (300), Indianapolis (306), and Missouri-St. Louis (309) in the standings.

Senior Shelby Warner and freshman Meredith Wipper are in a tie for 8^th after they both fired a 76 to lead the team.

Sophomore Makenzie Torres also had a good day, firing a 77 to put her in a tie for 16^th at the tournament.

Sophomore Samantha Hatter is tied for 31^st with an 81, while freshman Samantha Kellstrom is tied for 37^th with an 82.

The tournament will end tomorrow.
