Oilers Take 7th in BG
The University of Findlay women's golf team took seventh at the Dolores Black Falcon Invite, which wrapped up on April 9 at the Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio.
The Oilers finished the tournament by posting a 346 on the second day to give them a two-round score of 664 (318, 346). They were led by sophomore Makenzie Torres, who tied for 15th with a 160 (77, 83).
Junior Kelsey Koesters tied for 22nd with a 163 (79, 84), freshman Meredith Wipper (80, 84 – 164) tied for 27th, freshman Mackenzie Keenoy (84, 82 – 166) tied for 31st, senior Shelby Warner (80, 88 – 168) tied for 34th and freshman Samantha Kellstrom (81, 91 – 172) tied for 43rd.
The Oilers will be back in action again on April 21-23 at the 2017 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championship. The tournament is scheduled to be held at the Virtues Golf Course in Nashport, Ohio.
