Oilers Take 11th at Peggy Kirk Bell Invite
The University of Findlay women's golf team concluded the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational on March 6 at the Golden Bear Club at Keene's Pointe in Windemere, Fla. The Oilers took 11th at the prestigious event with a 54-hole score of 923 (310, 302, 311).
Mackenzie Keenoy led the way and took 42nd with a 230 (75, 75, 80) while Makenzie Torres tied for 43rd with a 231 (77, 74, 80).
Samantha Hatter tied for 47th with a 232 (79, 73, 80), Kristina Kniesly tied for 47th with a 232 (78, 81, 73), Samantha Kellstrom took 54th with a 234 (76, 77, 81), Meredith Wipper placed 62nd with a 237 (81, 78, 78), Kelsey Koesters finished in a tie for 92nd with a 258 (84, 90, 84) and Mikaela Hickey tied for 92nd after posting a 258 (87, 89, 82).
The Oilers will now head to Hilton Head, S.C. to take part in a tournament at Moss Creek Golf Club on March 17-18.
