Oilers Take 7th in S.C.
The University of Findlay women's golf team placed seventh in a field full of NCAA Division I programs at the Low Country Intercollegiate. The Oilers wrapped up the final day of competition on March 18 at the Moss Creek Golf Club in Hilton Head, S.C. with a 314 and finished the tournament with a two-round score of 634 (320, 314).
Makenzie Torres paced the Oilers and tied for 16th with a 155 (79, 76) while Kristina Kniesly tied for 23rd with a 158 (80, 78).
Samantha Hatter tied for 29th with a 159 (80, 79), Mackenzie Keenoy tied for 44th with a 164 (82, 82), Meredith Wipper tied for 46th with a 165 (81, 84) and Samantha Kellstrom tied for 53rd with a 169 (88, 81).
The Oilers will be back in action again on March 24-25 at the Perry Park Spring Fling in Perry Park, Ky.
