Top-10 Individual Performances | #9 Makenzie Torres

The 2017-18 athletic season at Findlay was one of the best in school history as multiple athletes and teams saw success at both the conference and national level. The UF media relations staff has put together a top-10 list of individual performances from the year and will release them throughout the summer months.

#9 | Makenzie Torres | Women's Golf

A native of Grove City, Ohio, Makenzie Torres had yet another outstanding season for the Oilers and finished 42nd among all NCAA Division II women's golfers with a scoring average of 75.38. Her 70 birdies during the season ranked 22nd in the country as well.

Torres led the Oilers to a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championship and took home medalist honors as the event. She was named the G-MAC Player of the Year and also earned first team all-conference accolades during her junior season.

Torres, who won two tournaments during the year, was also named first team all-region and took 30th at the 2018 NCAA Division II National Championship.
