Roth Hired as Assistant Coach

The University of Findlay men and women's golf program announced the hiring of Justin Roth as their new assistant coach on Aug. 2. Roth takes over for Jake Miller, who left to become the head coach at Tiffin University.

"Justin was a perfect fit as our next assistant," said head coach Dominic Guarnieri. He loves Findlay and I have no doubt that he will use the qualities he gained as a player to help our program move forward in his new coaching role."

Roth, who was a first team all-Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) selection for the Oilers men's golf team this past season, helped lead the Oilers to the league title during their first year in the conference. He was also named a Srixon/Cleveland Golf Scholar All-American for his work in the classroom.

"I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to become the Oilers new assistant golf coach," said Roth. "I would like to thank Dom and director of athletics, Brandi Laurita, for this opportunity and I'm looking forward to helping our student-athletes grow, achieve their goals, and become the best they can be both on and off the golf course."
