Wipper Named G-MAC Golfer of the Week

Junior Meredith Wipper was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Golfer of the Week on Oct. 10 after winning the William Beall Fall Classic.

Wipper won the event, which was held at the Findlay Country Club on Oct. 7-8, in a playoff against teammate Kristina Kniesly. She carded a 5-under par score of 67 during her final round, the lowest mark in school history, to force the playoff and ended the tournament with a 4-over par score of 148 (81, 67).

The Hilton Head, S.C. native has now won three tournaments during her tenure at Findlay. She also won the Cav Classic and the Illinois-Springfield Invitational last season.
