The University of Findlay women's golf team has moved up to 11th in the latest Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) NCAA Division II poll, which was released on Oct. 22.

Sophomore Kristina Kniesly has led the Oilers individually and ranks 39th in the nation in scoring average at 74.46. Senior Makenzie Torres ranks 48th at 74.69 while junior Meredith Wipper (75.62) and senior Samantha Hatter (75.62) are tied for 84th.

Torres ranks seventh in the nation with 32 birdies and is followed by Kniesly, who ranks ninth with 31. Hatter ranks 23rd with 25 birdies while Wipper is 40th with 21.

Freshman Jill Schmitmeyer also ranks among the best and is 76th with 17.
