Oilers Suffer Loss in 1st Match

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team had their first game ever on Saturday, March 2, which resulted in a 19-3 loss to Queens (N.Y.) in Flushing, N.Y.

Queens held a 26-9 advantage in shots on goal and out-shot the Oilers by a 33-12 margin in the contest.

The Oilers fell behind by a score of 16-0 before Taylor Trice scored the first women's lacrosse goal in the history of Findlay at the 3:30 mark of the second half.

Victoria Predmore then added two goals while Emily Dinda had seven saves between the pipes.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Monday at at St. Thomas Aquinas at 12 p.m.
