The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team suffered a 19-9 loss to St. Thomas Aquinas on Monday, March 4 in Sparkill, N.Y.
The Oilers fell behind by a score of 12-4 at the half before scoring five goals in the second period. They managed 19 shots during the contest while St. Thomas Aquinas peppered the goal with 34 shots.
Sarah Lankton scored four goals for the Oilers while Victoria Predmore added two. Jessie Rice, Taylor Trice and Olivia Porcaro all scored one goal apiece as well.
Emily Dinda allowed 19 scores in goal for Findlay while making 12 saves.
The Oilers will be back in action again on March 7 when they face Bridgeport at 4 p.m. in Bridgeport, Conn.
