Oilers Lacrosse Defeated by Tiffin

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team lost a 21-5 decision against Tiffin University on Wednesday, April 3 in Tiffin, Ohio.  The loss gives the Oilers a 2-8 record on the season with a 0-1 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

The Oilers were out-shot by a 41-23 margin and committed 21 turnovers in the game.  The Dragons also held a 45-12 advantage in ground balls in the loss.

Mackenzie Barnwell and Sarah Lankton each scored two goals apiece to the lead the Oilers offense while Taylor Trice added another goal.

The Oilers will return to the field on Friday when they face Notre Dame (Ohio) on the road.  The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
