Oilers Lacrosse Dominates Battlers, Win 23-3

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team earned a 23-3 victory over Alderson-Broaddus College on Sunday, April 21 at the Armstrong Sports Complex. 

The Oilers, who lit up the scoreboard for a season-high goal total in the game, improved to 5-11 on the year with a 3-4 record in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play.

Sarah Lankton had a huge day for Findlay, scoring eight goals to go along with six assists.  She also secured 13 ground balls, had 12 draw controls and forced five turnovers in the victory.

Taylor Trice added five goals and two assists while Mackenzie Barnwell had five goals and one assists.

Olivia Porcaro contributed three goals while Victoria Predmore dished out four helpers.

The Oilers peppered the net all afternoon and held an incredible 50-4 advantage in shots.  They also held a commanding 47-17 advantage in ground balls during the win.

Findlay will be in action again next Sunday (April 28) when they host Walsh University at 1 p.m.
