The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team concluded their regular season with a 21-5 win over Walsh University on Friday, April 25 in Canton, Ohio.

The Oilers, who are now 7-10 on the year with a 5-3 record in conference play, jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the first 13 minutes of the game and never looked back as they snapped a two-game losing streak.

Sophomore Sarah Lankton had a great game for Findlay with four goals, two assists, six ground balls and three caused turnovers while freshman Nicole Stines registered two goals, four assists, seven ground balls and four caused turnovers.

Freshman Kyra Bradley had four goals and freshman Melissa Peters scored three goals to go along with two assists.

Sophomores Mackenzie Barnwell and Victoria Predmore also added a pair of goals in the win.

Sophomore Katie Poorman picked up the win by stopping nine shots in the game.

The Oilers will now prepare for the first round of the 2014 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament, which is scheduled to begin on April 29. The Oilers opponent and location of the game will posted after conference play ends on April 27.
